Friends of Freddy, inc is a 501c (non-profit) dog rescue owned by Shaunti Elrond Szwed and run by Denise Buchanan in Brevard County, Florida.
The mission of Friends of Freddy is to rescue and help Brevard County shelter dogs, help local families re-home or keep their dogs, help with spays and neuter, vetting and food if needed.
Shaunti named the rescue after her pit mix Freddy as he is her pack leader.
Denise organizes foster homes, fundraisers and community events to spread awareness of dogs in need of homes.
Friends of Freddy always needs foster homes and homes for dogs!
